Crocosmia Lucifer

I couldn't get through July without bringing your attention to a favourite of mine, the Crocosmia.

Pictured here is Lucifer with its tomato red arching flower spikes. Crocosmia is a fully hardy robust cormous perennial that will thrive in full sun or partial shade. It prefers fertile, moist but well drained soil and grows up to 1.2 meters.
